FAQ

Do you have a Santa's Grotto?

Unfortunately not for this year. Instead of a grotto we will be having a roaming Santa where he will be making various special appearances throughout the day. This is the safest way that we can provide a Father Christmas experience.

What are the opening hours for the Christmas event?

Entry is from 9.45am to 5.30pm daily. 

What is included in an under 2's ticket?

Under 2's get full access to our farm and can: See all of our animals, see the Christmas Circus, see all of our shows and can ride on the Reindeer ride, the tractor ride, the Polar Express & the Chilly Willy. Under 2's do not receive: the Christmas Journey personalised booklet, the Build a Bag experience, any gifts, treats, sweets or presents provided in the Child tickets.

When purchasing we require that these tickets are added to the shopping cart so we know the number of visitors on site. 

Tickets for under 2's are free (Please bring proof of age with you as per the ticket terms.)


Is the Circus time my Farm arrival time?

No it's not. You can arrive at the farm from 9.45am and spend a full day with us. The Circus time is just one part of the Christmas Journey.

Why do I need to choose a Circus arrival time?

To help with queue management and to allow adequate social distancing we are asking guests to select their Circus arrival time. 

I have an open dated ticket can I use it?

Yes you can. If you have been provided with an open dated ticket and would like to redeem it against the cost of Christmas tickets then please follow this process - 

1) Purchase the tickets you require for Christmas.

2) Send an email to dave@omdfarm.co.uk with the original & new booking references.

3) Allow up to 7 working days for the original refund to be processed. You will be notified by email once the transaction has been credited.

I have a free ticket can I use it?

Unfortunately not. Customers that have been given a free ticket (gifts, incentives, raffles, charity donations, prizes etc.) cannot use these tickets at Christmas. These type of tickets are only valid from Feb to 1st Nov.

Do you offer refunds on online tickets?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on our online sales. However, if we have to close you will be able to use your tickets purchased for a different day. 

Can I pre-book my Circus seats?

No, seats for the Circus are allocated on arrival.

Are there age/height restrictions for the rides?

Yes, our rides are restricted by height regulations. We  recommend customers to check height restrictions before purchasing tickets to avoid and disappointment. All rides & their restrictions can be found HERE

What if it rains or we experience bad weather?

We always consider public safety first and therefore will only open if weather conditions are right and not dangerous.

How will I know if the farm is closed?

Although we rarely close, we do advise all customers to check our website and/or social media pages for any announcements regarding this. We will also notify customers of any closures to the email address provided. (Please ensure junk email folders are checked)

What card payments do you accept?

We accept all debit/credit cards except American Express.

Can we buy food inside?
Yes you can. We have our 'Grab & Go Cafe' and other food and beverage outlets you can buy hot & cold meals/snacks. 
Can I bring a picnic?

Yes, we welcome picnics at our farm. There are lots of seating areas that you can use.

Can I take photos/videos?

You are able to take photos of your family with low-res hand held devices, smartphones etc. Please be mindful of other families privacy.
